Before this month’s general elections for City of Charlotte mayor and council, be sure you know where the candidates stand on matters important to Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s cultural community.

In advance of the July 26 elections, we asked city candidates to complete an arts and cultural issues survey. Candidates gave their opinions about public funding of arts and cultural programs, and the role arts, science and history should play in our community.
