The American Painted Lady butterfly is a source of inspiration for “Wings,” the concept for public art that local artist Meredith Connelly will create for the Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Ezell Farms Community Farm in Mint Hill.

Connelly will discuss her concept at a virtual Community Engagement from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, June 9. It will be an opportunity to learn more about Connelly’s concept and provide feedback.
