Several ASC Funding Opportunities Are currently available.
Culture Blocks
Culture Blocks connects communities with responsive arts, science, and history experiences closer to where residents live. The program engages with creative individuals and organizations with a primary mission of arts, science, and/or history to present programs in specific geographic areas. Culture Blocks, funded by Mecklenburg County, supports cultural experiences that are planned with resident involvement and/or take place at libraries, recreation centers, parks, and relevant community spaces.
Deadline to apply: Oct. 30, 2023, at noon.

ASC Emerging Creators Fellowships
The Emerging Creator Fellowship provides an investment in early career, vocational creatives looking to establish their creative practice in Mecklenburg County. The fellowship supports creatives that are at a pivotal moment in launching sustainable careers in the creative sector.

ASC Creative Renewal Fellowship
The Creative Renewal Fellowship is intended to provide a structured period of rest and creative exploration for vocational artists. The Fellows are not required to produce a final project. The fellowship funds can be used for research, instruction, conferences, apprenticeships, travel, or other experiences that help the recipient explore their creative journey.
