Have Three Minutes? You Can Help Six Local Artist Working to Update "Wind Sculpture"
Six local artists have been commissioned by ASC to create replacement discs for the iconic uptown public artwork “Wind Sculpture,” created by the late Charlotte artist Jack Pentes.
Central to “Wind Sculpture” are its six spinning discs. The selected artists will create new designs for the banners that are representative of every City of Charlotte District. If you live or work in Charlotte, you can inspire their work by taking a few minutes to provide feedback that the artist representing your district will use to in designing their disc.
Below are the six selected artists and the questions they have for you. Find the artist that represents the district where you live or work and email them your responses.
