DESCRIPTION:Presented by ArtWalks CLT\nWhen: March 10 (4 – 6PM)\nWhere: Independence Regional Library (6000 Conference Dr\, Charlotte\, NC 28212) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFollowing a short art walk to a nearby mural\, Madelyn Hernandez will facilitate a character sketching workshop inspired by figures\, symbols\, and narratives found in public art. Participants will learn foundational techniques for creating characters\, including simple anatomy\, facial expressions\, poses\, and stylized forms commonly used in murals and street art. Using pencils\, markers\, and reference prompts\, each attendee will develop one or more original character sketches that reflect their imagination and the stories encountered during the mural walk. \nAll materials and supplies will be provided.
