Blumenthal Arts - VR Lead

Position: VR Lead

Job Type: Part Time – Temporary

Offer Range; $25 – $30 hourly

Blumenthal Arts seeks a Part Time VR Lead to assist with audio and visual needs of our new virtual reality experience Space Explorers: THE INFNITE. This a temporary position that requires approximately 20-30 hours per week including nights, weekends and holidays from September to January.

Your impact:

  • Oversee all technical operations of the exhibition, including VR head mounted displays, free-roaming technology, and installation scenery
  • Open and close the exhibition on a daily basis
  • Supervise and offer support to Mission Specialists during all operating hours
  • Provide a consistent and continuous level of training to all staff
  • Coordinate necessary maintenance and cleaning tasks to guarantee the equipment and scenery meet experience standards
  • Offer technical support to troubleshoot problems as they occur.
  • Oversee the exhibition’s scenography and coordinate any repairs as needed
  • Complete daily reports
