The Zine Making workshop will introduce the ideas behind a zine, pronounced “zeen,” which is a small booklet, produced to foster creative self-expression.  Through the process of creating their own personal zine, participants will learn the basics of zine history, layout, folding, and simple binding techniques while exploring how zines have been used for storytelling, self-expression, and community voice. Using collage materials, drawing tools, and markers, each participant will create a small, take-home zine inspired by their personal experiences and community.
