Education and participation in the Arts, Science, and History are vital to the development of our children and our communities. Through advocacy, research, partnerships and professional development, ASC strives to provide and secure more resources and support for education in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
ASC views its role in education as an advocate, a funder and a voice. In these roles, the organization seeks to provide educational content and resources to serve teachers, students and other learners. Additionally, ASC actively engages in dialogue about the importance of education and how essential it is to our cultural community.
ASC is pleased to announce the new Education Network webpage: ASCeducation.org. This website is designed to be a resource for teachers, students and families, teaching artists, and cultural organizations in Mecklenburg County focusing on important news, relevant topics, cultural activities, professional development, and grant opportunities.
